Grace Damouni

Grace Damouni has been working with individuals with Autism and other Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD) since 1992. She is the founder and director of ACIS, an organization devoted to providing information, workshops, training and holistic intervention to families and children with Autism/PDD and other developmental disorders.

Grace specializes in Child Development with a primary emphasis on Atypical Development. She provides clinical supervision, staff training, program development, direct one-on-one intervention, informal assessment services and lectures at workshops. She pioneered "Let's Play - Talk and Play", a social and communication skills program for children with Autism/PDD.

She has extensive clinical training and certification in Discrete Trial Training, Lovaas, Behavioral Intervention, Sensory Integration, Handwriting Without Tears, Picture Exchange and Communication System, and Greenspan Infancy and Early Childhood Training course-floortime method. She continues to participate in workshops and conferences across Canada, the USA and Europe.
