Full-time and Part-time Positions

ACIS is seeking individuals with a true desire to help children with needs reach their potential. Currently, we have openings for the position of:

  • Junior Instructional Therapist
  • Senior Instructional Therapist

Senior Instructional Therapist

Currently has a bachelor’s degree or is seeking a master’s degree in psychology, sociology, social sciences, education, speech and language, occupational therapy or a closely related field.

Senior Instructional assistants have 2 or more years of supervised clinical experience implementing IBI/ABA therapy to children with special needs, specializing in autism.


Junior Instructional Therapist

Currently has or is seeking a bachelor’s or master’s degree in psychology, sociology, social sciences, education, speech and language, occupational therapy or a closely related field. College applicants need to have a diploma in ECE, CYW or CDA.

Junior instructional assistants should have experience working with children with special needs.

All applicants must

  • Have access to a vehicle;
  • Be able to attend monthly meetings held in the evening throughout the week and possibly the weekend;
  • Be able to commit to a one year contract position;
  • Attend intensive in service training workshops and practicums;
  • Attend intensive workshops held outside of ACIS;
  • Write exams and complete practicums;
  • Complete police and medical screenings;
  • Be motivated, responsible and caring individuals with a desire to further their professional career through learning.
