Full-time and Part-time Positions
ACIS is seeking individuals with a true desire to help children with needs reach their potential. Currently, we have openings for the position of:
- Junior Instructional Therapist
- Senior Instructional Therapist
Senior Instructional Therapist
Currently has a bachelor’s degree or is seeking a master’s degree in psychology, sociology, social sciences, education, speech and language, occupational therapy or a closely related field.
Senior Instructional assistants have 2 or more years of supervised clinical experience implementing IBI/ABA therapy to children with special needs, specializing in autism.
Junior Instructional Therapist
Currently has or is seeking a bachelor’s or master’s degree in psychology, sociology, social sciences, education, speech and language, occupational therapy or a closely related field. College applicants need to have a diploma in ECE, CYW or CDA.
Junior instructional assistants should have experience working with children with special needs.
All applicants must
- Have access to a vehicle;
- Be able to attend monthly meetings held in the evening throughout the week and possibly the weekend;
- Be able to commit to a one year contract position;
- Attend intensive in service training workshops and practicums;
- Attend intensive workshops held outside of ACIS;
- Write exams and complete practicums;
- Complete police and medical screenings;
- Be motivated, responsible and caring individuals with a desire to further their professional career through learning.
